University Choral Leadership Awards
Dr. Dominic Gregorio University of Regina Choral Leadership Award and
​The University of Saskatchewan Choral Leadership Award
Each Choral Leadership award recognizes an undergraduate student who has made or has the potential to make a significant contribution to the choral community of the university.

Each award consists of a cash award of $250.  A maximum of one award may be presented each year to the University of Regina and the University of Saskatchewan.

Application Procedure

The application process will consist of a submission of information through a letter from the applicant.

Eligibility
  • ​Any individual student registered at the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan
  • Any student who has been involved in university choral ensembles, choral classes, or choir executives
  •  Preference will be given to full-time music students

Submission Guidelines

Applications must include the following:
  •  A brief letter (600-1000 words) that includes the applicant's education, musical background (including singing, choral conducting, choral leadership), and noteworthy achievements.  Please indicate why you feel you have made a positive contribution to the department, university, and community through your choral leadership and role modelling.
  • Please have this letter signed also by your university's choral director.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is May 15th annually.

Selection Process

Materials from the applicants will be adjudicated by the Nominations Committee to select the award recipient.  The successful recipients will be notified in early June.  The Award may be presented at an SCF or University ceremony to honour the recipients.
