Adopt-a-Chorister

The Saskatchewan Youth Choir is an exciting opportunity for talented youth ages 14 - 22 to perform in an SATB balanced choir with likeminded singers in Saskatchewan. The program develops singers ready to participate in premier vocal ensembles across Canada and to work with an accomplished conductor.

The 2025 Saskatchewan Youth Choir is composed of  twenty-six fantastic choristers from five communities across the province! The choir will be conducted by Edmonton-based composer, conductor and music educator, Laura Hawley.

As part of their training, singers will prepare a varied program of exciting repertoire designed to enthrall audiences of all ages at a final concert.

The Adopt-a-Chorister campaign is one of the ways we are able to present SYC while keeping registration fees low. Every adoption makes it possible for a talented youth chorister from across the province to take part in this musically rewarding experience.

The cost to adopt a SYC Chorister is $100.00.

Adopt-a-Chorister donations made by March 5th, 2025 will receive recognition in the SYC concert program and all donors will appear on the Saskatchewan Choral Federation website. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations.

Thank you for your support and helping us keep Saskatchewan singing!
