Celebrate singing at ChorFest held annually

ChorFest 2025  Tuesday, March 11th to Thursday, March 13th, 2025!
Clinicians for the 2025 festival are Dr. Jennifer Lang, Kimberley Denis, and Philip Lapatha
Registration is now closed as all available spots are full!
Be a part of SCF's provincial festival of choral music for all ages of group singing.  The festival focuses on choral growth and development through performance, adjudication and workshops with accomplished Canadian choral clinicians.

Sing together, learn together and share the beauty and power of choral music in a non-competitive supportive festival setting. Perform and workshop your own music, whether large or small, novice or accomplished - no matter what degree of expertise, ChorFest clincians will work with each group at their own level.  A group that is just starting out has as much to gain as does a well established choir!  The festival has been timed to help you prepare for spring festivals, concerts and tours.  Your music doesn't have to be prepared and polished - just ready to work on.

ChorFest is open to all community, school and church choirs however is available to SCF members only.  Membership can be purchased as part of the ChorFest registration process.

There are lots of ways to participate in ChorFest -
  • Bring your choir to one of six "pods" at each festival (either morning or afternoon pods available)
  • Audit a "pod" and learn along with the participating choirs - admission is $5/person.
  • Volunteer to assist at ChorFest - there are a number of ways to get involved

CLINICIANS
Three clinicians work with the choirs each year at the festival.  Clinicians for 2025 are Dr. Jennifer Lang (Saskatoon), Kimberley Denis (Edmonton), and Philip Lapatha (Winnipeg).

REGISTER NOW - Registration will be open January 6, 2025.

COST - $225.00 plus GST - $236.25 (per choir/ensemble)

VOLUNTEERS
Be a part of the festival by volunteering for an hour or a day or the entire festival.  We'd love to have you.
