MAKE MUSIC HAPPEN!

Picture
To reduce facility costs the Saskatchewan Choral Federation is moving to a new office and library location at 1860 and 1870 Lorne Street effective May 1st, where we were located almost 10 years ago. The rising cost of the monthly rent and additional costs required to manage and maintain a facility the size we currently are in has become cost prohibitive.  This move will allow us to allocate more resources towards programming and events that support our members, choral enthusiasts and the choral community as a whole in Saskatchewan.  We are grateful for your continued support and look forward to continuing to provide high-quality programming.  Stay tuned for more updates as we move into the future not just with the location but overall!

SCF E-notes for March is available here - March E-Notes

Decisions are being made each day by people in powerful and influential positions about the future of the arts in Canada.  These decisions impact the support, growth, and respect of the choral art form in our communites, schools, and professional arts sector.  Now, more than ever, individual singing groups, and choral organizations need to be intential in unifying their voices to speak up about the importance and benefits of group singing!  This is a Call to Action - Pass it on!
Check out the detailed information on the Choral Canada website at #BenefitsOfSinging

The Sask Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation provides funding to 12,000+ sport, culture and recreation organizations such as SCF.  Without this funding we would not  be able to bring the programming and services for choirs (directors & singers) and to the people of Saskatchewan as we do.  A portion of every lottery ticket purchased in Saskatchewan provides that support to SCF and many other organizatons across the province.

Thank  you for visiting our site!
