ChorFest is a series of choral music festivals for all ages and genres of vocal groups.  The festivals focus on choral growth and development through performance, non-competitive adjudications and workshops with accomplished clinicians.

Sing together, learn together and share the beauty and power of choral music in a non-competitive supportive festival setting.

Perform and workshop your own music with some of Canada’s most accomplished choral and vocal ensemble clinicians.

Whether small or large, novice or accomplished – no matter what your degree of expertise, ChorFest clinicians will work with each group at their own level.  A group that’s just starting out has as much to gain as does a well-established choir!

ChorFest is open to all community, school and church choirs and vocal ensembles. The Festival has been timed to help you prepare for all your spring festivals, concerts and tours.  Your music doesn't have to be prepared and polished - just ready to work on.

There are lots of ways to get involved -

  • Bring your choir to one of six ChorFest learning pods at each festival
  • Audit a 'Pod' and learn along with those participating choirs - no charge!
  • Volunteer to take tickets, work at the concession, hand out programs, marshall choirs, set-up, tear-down, whatever it takes . . .

Come for an hour, come for a learning pod, come for a day, come for the whole event - we'd love to see you!

CLINICIANS

Directors, don't miss your chance to work with members of the Canadian Chamber Choir!  Clinicians will be Julia Davids, Artistic Director; Joel Tranquilla, Associate Conductor; and Christopher Lane who sings in the bass section of the Canadian Chamber Choir.  Have your singers interact with other members of CCC as they step in to sing alongside your students during your private workshop.
