Conducting Masterclass

What is the Conducting MasterClass Workshop all about?

Dr. Langager has been getting such glowing reviews from Saskatchewan conductors who saw him at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival a year or so ago, that we thought we'd see if he would offer a Conducting Masterclass during his stay with us as a ChorFest clinician.  Individuals can be involved in the MasterClass either as one of three 'apprentice' conductors or as a singer in the MasterClass Choir.

ENSEMBLE DIRECTORS (established and emerging) - Work with award-winning ChorFest clinician, Dr. Graeme Lanager, to hone your skills and pick-up some new tips and tricks while working with a lab choir.

Register early to secure your spot as one of three workshop conductors.  Cost is $200 for the day and includes lunch and refreshment breaks.

Singers and Directors, here is your chance to sing with colleagues and gain valuable professional development either as a singer or conductor, while listening and learning to Dr. Langager as he works with the three workshop conductors.

Cost is $20 for the day and includes lunch and refreshment breaks.  Pre-registration is required.

The Masterclass goes from 9 to 4 with each Masterclass conductor working with Dr. Langager and the choir for about 1.5-2 hours.  There'll be short breaks in the am & pm with lunch served around 11:30 (vegetarian option).
