Disbursement of Funds

The maximum New Choir Development Funding awarded to a new choir per year will be $300.  Funding is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Funding for each choir is based on the amount of funds available to the Saskatchewan Choral Federation from Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund and is based on the number of members in the choir.  Once SCF has received its grant from Saskatchewan Lotteries, the New Choir Development Funding will be disbursed in one payment.  Funds will be distributed in January.
  • New choirs with less than 10 people will receive funding on a pro-rated basis.

Additional Information

  • Successful applicants must maintain their SCF Membership for the year in which the funding assistance application is submitted and the years in which funding assistance is approved.
  • Successful applicants must acknowledge the Saskatchewan Choral Federation, Saskatchewan Lotteries, SaskCulture and Saskatchewan Arts Board by using the respective logos on all printed materials (syllabi, posters, brochures, programs, electronic media, etc.)
