July 2 - 5, 2013, the Saskatchewan Choral Federation partnered with the Regina North East Community Association to hold the first ever Jr Glee Camp. From Tuesday to Friday, 28 campers, ages 6 – 14, came from McDermid Community School, Imperial Community School & Dr. L.M. Hanna School and spent the week making music. Campers learned drumming and guitar, sang in choir, and made their own percussion instruments. The week culminated with a final concert on Friday for family, friends and residents of the Regina Lutheran Home.

Thank you to Access Communications Children's Fund who provided a grant to cover some of the camp costs. We appreciate the additional in-kind support that was received from Water Warehouse, 2-4-1 Pizza (North) and Katherine Ross (face painting). The majority of the campers expressed a love and interest in music and we are very happy to have been able to offer them this opportunity. We would like to thank all of our volunteers, clinicians, counselors and sponsors for your support in making this an unforgettable week!
