The Saskatchewan Choral Concert Series supports the Choral Federation's mandate to promote and assist in the enhancement of choral music in Saskatchewan by developing a larger and better-informed public and fostering ever-higher standards of artistry among choral conductors and singers.
This program builds on Saskatchewan performances by internationally renowned choirs and vocal groups. Highlighting the unique characteristics of each group and forming partnerships to attract non-traditional choral communities will grow awareness and appreciation for choral singing as a valuable art form and healthy lifestyle activity.
As part of their residency, groups are contracted to provide clinics and workshops for Saskatchewan choristers. The opportunity to work with and observe talent of this calibre provides learnings and incentive to grow and enhance Saskatchewan's choral community.
