Program Manager Position Available

The Saskatchewan Choral Federation (SCF) is seeking a Program Manager to be hired on a full-time permanent basis following the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.

The candidate will have experience in arts administration and the not-for-profit / charity sector.  Working closely with the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of Choral Federation programming and services including, but not limited to, Optimist ChorFest, SK Youth Choir, Jr. Glee summer music camps, Music Mosaic Culture Day activities and Music for the Sole fundraising runs.  The Program Manager will be expected to organize, market and manage events, solicit funding, and complete reporting requirements according to procedure and within budgetary and strategic guidelines.

Applicants should have a post secondary degree or equivalent experience in arts management.  The successful candidate will be located in Regina, Saskatchewan and will work out of the SCF Music Centre.  Applicants will be expected to have excellent computer, verbal and written communications skills.  They will be fluent in social media platforms and show discernment and maturity in communicating with and expanding SCF media followers.

The Saskatchewan Choral Federation is a not-for-profit provincial cultural organization receiving significant funding from the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund with the assistance of SaskCulture and the Saskatchewan Arts Board.  Founded in 1978, SCF provides a range of programs and services to Saskatchewan choirs that serve to encourage involvement, support and develop choral singing and conducting, and develop audience appreciation.  Supported by a strong and engaged Board of Directors, the Choral Federation is a leader in community development and looks forward to a bright and successful future supporting music development and appreciation in Saskatchewan.
